As part of the Rangiuru Business Park Interchange project, a closure of State Highway 2 Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road (SH2 TELTR) is required, in one direction at a time, over three nights, commencing 4th November 2024 between the hours of 8.00pm to 6.00am.
These closures will enable work to take place removing barriers, repairing the road surface, and installing additional hit sticks. To ensure the safety of our team and the travelling public, a closure is required whilst the work is undertaken.
Start date: 8pm Monday 4th November 2024
Expected end date: 6am Thursday 7th November 2024
Time of work: 8pm – 6am
Traffic Management:
- Night one – West bound carriageway to be closed with a detour route starting at the Domain Road Interchange, joining the Te Puke Highway, through Te Puke to the Paengaroa roundabout.
- Night two – East bound carriageway to be closed with a detour route starting at Paengaroa roundabout joining the Te Puke Highway, through Te Puke to the Domain Road Interchange.
- Night three – Due to the extent of the work, there is likely to be a third night required, to complete the repair work to the carriageway, so there will be a third night of closure on Wednesday 6th November 2024 between the hours of 8.00pm to 6.00am (direction to be confirmed).
